PHOTONEWS: Auchi poly students protest lecturers’ strike action

Students of Auchi Polytechnic in Edo state have embarked on a protest march against the management and staff of the institution over their “unending” strike action.

According to some students, who shared photographs of the protest on Facebook, the incessant industrial actions by the staff of the institution has delayed their graduation and cause those due for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization to miss the recently concluded exercise.

DAILY POST gathered that the Benin – Okene expressway was blocked by the protesting students who carrIED placards with inscriptions such as: “Enough! Enough!! Enough!!!” “We want lectures now!!!” “We are tired of staying at home!!!” among others.

At the time of writing this post, the protest was still on-going.
