PHOTONEWS: Anti-Amnesty protesters allegedly caught collecting bribe in Abuja

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

Photographs have emerged showing some protesters who shut down in protest, the Nigerian head office of the Amnesty International in Abuja where they were caught collecting money from their alleged sponsors.

The anti-Amnesty protesters had besieged the organisation’s head office from Monday through Wednesday.

During their first visit to Amnesty office on Monday, the aggrieved protesters gave the human right body a 24-hour ultimatum to leave Nigeria.

The protesters led by Global Peace and Life Rescue Initiative, GOPRI, a pressure group which had accused the international group of concocting lies against the army, had also converged at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.

Photographs showing the protesters collecting money from their alleged sponsors below may have given credence to claims that the protest was sponsored.
