Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini could not hide his frustration, after his side was held to a 1-1 draw at Chelsea on Saturday.
Loic Remy finished off Eden Hazard’s cross in the 41st minute, but David Silva equalized for City just before the break, to ensure the gap remains at five points.
Remy’s effort was Chelsea’s second and last shot on target in the match and Pellegrini has flayed Jose Mourinho’s tactical set up.
“I think that our team tried to win the game from the first minute until the end,” he said.
“I am very proud about that because it is not easy to come here to Stamford Bridge against the leaders of the Premier League with very good players.
“We created, especially in the first half, clear chances to deserve more than the point.
“That’s why I am not happy about the point but I am happy with the performance.”
