PDP wins in Nasarawa

Mr Abel Bala of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was declared winner of Saturday’s poll for Nasarawa Eggon west constituency of Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

Prof. Moses Ikoh, the Returning Officer, announced this on Sunday in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government of the state.

Prof. Ikoh said Bala of PDP, having scored the highest votes of 8,804 and met the requirement by law, “is hereby declared winner for Nasarawa Eggon west constituency”.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bala defeated his closest rival, Danlami Kuje of APC who scored 6,581 votes.
