The protracted crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party has led to the emergence of a rival faction of the Party.
The new faction is led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, governor Rotimi Amaechi Rivers state and seven other northern governors.
Others are former governor of Osun state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former National Deputy Chairman of the PDP, Sam Sam Jaja and senator Abdulahi adamu.
Announcing the emergence of the splinter group,former National Chairman of the PDP, Bala Kaoje, accused the Bamanga Tukur led PDP of violating the Party’s constitution.
