PDP’s sins will be Jonathan, Ajibola’s undoing – Omotosho

The Director of Media of the Abdulfatah Ahmed Governorship Campaign Organisation, Kayode Omotosho, has declared that the sins of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, would be the undoing of President Goodluck Jonathan and PDP’s governorship candidate, Senator Simeon Ajibola at the general election in Kwara State.

Omotosho, a former member of the House of Representatives, in an interview with Saturday Independent, also described the PDP’s declaration that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will be history after the elections as false confidence.

“Their sins will limit the aspiration. I need not to join issues with them because we have a people’s governor in the person of Governor Abdulfatah. They know too well that PDP’s sins will stop both President Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Simeon Ajibola come March 28 and April 14 in Kwara State.

“They have nothing to point out to as campaign issue because PDP has failed the people. Our leader, Senator Bukola Saraki, could not stand the level of corruption in the party that was why himself and the governor had to jet out of the sinking ship of PDP and teamed up with leaders of the APC.

“In Kwara State, there has not been presence of the federal government since 1999. All the federal roads were being rehabilitated by the state government, starting from the tenure of Senator Bukola as governor and Governor Abdulfatah continues the tradition.

“To mention a few roads, we can point to Ilorin-Omuaran through Ekiti and Okene express roads and Ilesa Ibarapa roads. The federal government owes the state government billions of naira for our contribution to Ganmon step-down since the days of President Musa Yar’Adua.

“The so called SURE-P project, the federal government sacked all the 1,100 Kwara State indigenes employed, just because our people defected to the APC over a year ago and since then the governor has been paying those disengaged staff.

“PDP is dead in Kwara. Let them tell us where they can measure up to us? Is it health, Education, Agriculture, recreation facilities, infrastructure, empowerment or others? They are going to be knocked down by the sins they have committed against the people in terms of the poverty they have visited on them”
