Members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the party’s National Caretaker Committee headed by Senator Ahmed Makarfi.

The party made this move after a review of the state of the party and the leadership the committee is demonstrating.

The national publicity secretary, Dayo Adeyeye, in a signed statement obtained via the official twitter handle of the party, called on all party members, friends and well wishers to continue in their support of the National Caretaker Committee.

“The Meeting had the following stakeholders in attendance: members of the National Caretaker Committee led by the Chairman, Sen. Makarfi; members of the BoT led by the Chairman, Sen. “The Meeting at Transcorp held immediately after the Inauguration of the ‘Strategy Review and Inter Party Affairs Committee’ at the ‘Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja; and the Committee’s Chairman and Secretary are Professor Jerry Gana and Rt.
