Friends and political associates of former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and Chairman Amnesty committee, Kingsley Kuku, yesterday in Ondo State held special prayers for his quick recovery.
Kuku is currently recuperating in the United States of America after a knee surgery.
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Eseodo local government area of the state, Solomon Tunyan, who anchored the prayer session, urged those in attendance to pray for Kuku, so that he can recover within the shortest period of time.
According to him, the prayers became necessary in view of the development associated with Kuku’s health after he went under the surgical knife.
Tunyan said Kuku’s absence had created a vacuum within and outside the party in the state, adding only prayers can bring him home safely.
He also commended Governor Olusegun Mimiko on his efforts towards rebuilding the PDP in the country.
