PDP Crisis: Ali Modu Sheriff got PDP leaders detained, arrested – Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has accused the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff of instigating the arrest and detention of some members of the party, including the late governor of Niger State, Kure.

The ex-PDP Presidential campaign spokesperson made the revelation in a series of tweets on his twitter handle@realFFK.

According to the tweet, “Ali Modu Sheriff was responsible for the arrest and detention of numerous PDP leaders, including Gov. Kure of Niger state who later died.”

Allegeding that there will be no election in 2019, the PDP Chieftain wrote “Nigeria needs deliverance. We are not going to have an election in 2019 we are going to have an exorcism. We will pray this evil govt. out.”

The crisis currently ravaging the former ruling party took another turn last week Friday when an Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State affirmed Sheriff as the authentic Chairman of the PDP.
