PDP condemns Kaduna killings, destruction of property

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kaduna State chapter, has condemned in strong term the wanton killings and destruction of property at Kasuwan Magani in Kajuru local government area of the State.
The party also condemned the kidnapping of the paramount ruler of Adara Chiefdom in the state, Chief Maiwada Galadima.
The party made the condemnation through its state Publicity Secretary, Abraham Alberah Catoh, calling for calm and peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse groups at Kasuwan Magani and the entire State.
The PDP also advised the State government and all security agencies to make sure that the culprits of the crisis were brought to book.
“We are appealing to the general public to always respect the rule of law by not taking the law into their hands.
“We sympathize and condole with all bereaved persons and the injured,” the statement noted.
The PDP maintained that the society could not develop under an atmosphere of rancour, adding that there can never be any economic development without political stability.
