Aspiring national chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Raymond Dokpesi, has picked his nomination form ahead of the August 17 National Convention of the party.
The form was picked on his behalf by a member of his campaign team.
The Makarfi-led faction had earlier vowed to go ahead with its convention despite recent court ruling, describing the National Caretaker Committee as illegal.
Recall that governors, National Assembly Members and Former Ministers of the party had zoned the National Chairmanship of the party to the South West, while the positions of National Treasurer and Deputy National Publicity Secretary were zoned to the South West.
The party zoned the position of First Deputy National Chairman to the South-South.
The South-South also got the positions of National Legal Adviser, Deputy National Women Leader and Deputy National Auditor, while the South-East got the following positions: National Organising Secretary, National Youth Leader and Deputy National Financial Secretary.
