The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved the appointment of Mr Inusa Mohammed as the Principal Secretary to its National Chairman, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff.
A statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja, by Prof. Adewale Oladipo, PDP National Secretary, stated that the party also approved the appointment of Chief Uche Nnaji as the Political Adviser to the National Chairman.
Also approved were Sen. Saidu Kumo as Special Adviser on National Assembly Relations, and Sen. Ighoyota Amori, as Special Adviser, Reconciliation and Conflict Management.
The statement added that all the appointments took immediate effect.
DAILY POST recalls that PDP last week announced Mr. Inuwa Bwala as Sheriff’s Special Assistant (Media). Shettima Shehu was named the Special Assistant (Special Duties).
Sheriff now has 6 aides, despite assurance by the national leadership of the PDP that he will leave office in May.
