West Ham midfielder, Dimitri Payet, has been named London Premier League Player of the Year.
The Frenchman who joined the Hammers only last summer, beat Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, Chelsea’s Willian, Tottenham Hotspurs’ Harry Kane and Watford’s Odion Ighalo to the prize.
Payet has scored seven times and provided six assists since his move from Marseille.
He was recently rewarded with a £125,000-a-week deal until 2021.
