The national leader of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and founder of Warri-based Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has condemned the interminable bomb attacks on churches in the country, stating that the government has also failed the people on the war against corruption..
The renowned preacher said this on Sunday at the dedication of the newly completed church building by the Good Tidings Bible Church International in Abuja.
Oritsejafor who recently joined the league of pastors who own private jet in the country lamented that the healthcare system in the country had failed while the standard of education is fast deteriorating.
He said: “How can people be bombing churches. How can people be stealing billions of Naira meant for Pensioners. Is it that they don’t have the fear God?
“Why can’t we have an international standard hospital in Nigeria where people from outside the country could come for treatment.
“Look at our educational system; the standard is falling at an alarming rate.’’
Earlier in his remarks, Pastor Dayo Olutayo, the Senior Pastor of GoodTidings Bible Church International, thanked God for bringing the project, which started five years ago, to completion.
“Every country has trying moment. We are having our own at this period and just like we overcame other challenges, I believe that what we are going through now will be a thing of the past.
“We pray for this nation to prosper and fulfill God’s purpose.’’
Highlights of the event were drama, choreography and Bible recitation by children.
