Pastor Oritsejafor receives private jet as birthday gift from Church members

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria and founder of Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has become a proud owner of a private jet, joining the rest of other Pastors who own private jets.

The newly acquired jet announced in church as a gift by members of the church was marked N431C. The announcement was made to the congregation at the 40th year anniversary of the church, which was celebrated alongside Oritsejafor’s birthday held in Warri, Delta State, at the church premises.

It was reported that the congregation went wild in celebration and applause when the announcement of the new jet was made.

Although not much was said about the cost of the jet, the 1994 modern of the aircraft goes for $4.9m.

The event was attended by prominent Nigerians, including the nation’s President, Goodluck Jonathan who advised Nigerians at the occasion to remain steadfast, believing that no matter the challenges, Nigeria will get it right at the end.

The President had praised Oritsejafor for his virtues as one of the leaders of the church.

He said, “I can say without any equivocation that Oritsejafor, from the very humble beginning in 1972, has moved from strength to strength. Today, he is a Christian visionary leader who preaches the words of God clearly and eloquently as a good shepherd, a man of vision who has served as an interface between the country’s two major religions.

“He has earned his respect among his peers and this explains why he is holding the two very important positions in Christendom in Nigeria as the President of CAN, and President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.”

Oritsejafor who made a similar remark said the progress of the country depends entirely on individual’s sacrifice to the nation. He had stressed that for the nation to get it right, Nigerian must become selfless.

He warned those whose interest was to divide the country, saying that what should interest all Nigerians should rather be how to move the nation forward.
