Parallel PDP Guber primary begins in Enugu

The governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu State is currently taking place in two parallel venues.

Trouble had started in the morning when majority of the authentic delegates were allegedly denied access into one of the election venues at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

Irked by the development, three aspirants told the election panel not to be misled into conducting an illegal primary election.

The aspirants, who have kicked against the exercise include, Senator Ayogu Eze, Chief Sam Onyishi and Prof. Onyeke O. Onyeke.

As at the time of filling this report, another primary election has commenced at Filbon Hotels, Enugu.
