Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, has dismissed rumours that he wants to leave the club this summer and also insisted he has no problems with the manager, Arsene Wenger.
On Tuesday, Spanish publication, Don Balon, claimed that the former Real Madrid player was keen on moving on this summer and would request a move if Wenger remained in charge.
But the Germany international says he joined the club because of the Frenchman and nothing has changed.
“Have seen the media reports today,” he tweeted. “Arsène Wenger was a big reason for me joining Arsenal – this hasn’t changed! # Respect.”
Ozil has been the Gunners’ best player in another forgettable season and is two assists short of Thierry Henry’s record of 20.
