Mesut Ozil is expected to feature for Arsenal this weekend against Norwich at the Emirates.
The playmaker limped off injured in Germany’s 5-3 win over Sweden, but it is believed that his substitution was precautionary and he only suffered a bruised knee.
Ozil had pulled the Germans back into the shortly with a goal shortly before half-time, after the Swedes raced to a two-goal lead. The former Real Madrid who was playing on his 25th birthday, also gave two assists before he was forced off in the 82nd minute of the match.
He was replaced by Julian Draxler and German newspaper BILD confirmed on their live game feed that he was heading for treatment.
