Owo FMC female staff kidnapped

Some unknown gunmen Saturday, kidnapped a female pharmacist, Mrs Queen Ehizogie Adeyeye at her residence in Ishelu Quarters, Owo in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Adeyeye who was said to be a pharmacist at the Federal Medical Center, Owo, reportedly lost her husband barely a year ago and and she was abducted on her way from the church where she went for prayer to mark the first year of her husband’s demise .

According to a source, the widow pharmacist just returned from church on Saturday morning at about 5.30 in company of her son and her sister in the car when the hoodlums stormed their compound,

Report says when the victim entered into the compound, the abductors reportedly entered with her after the gate was opened for her to drive in.

” They were coming from the church vigil on Saturday morning, as the gate was opened for them to go into the compound, the armed men came in with them. They asked the son and her sister come down from the vehicle and drove only her (Adeyeye) away” the source explained

It was gathered that the abductors had not contacted the family yet. Meanwhile, the matter has been reported at the Owo police station.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Mr Femi Joseph, confirmed the development. He said the state command had begun investigation into the matter .
