Otukpo/Ohimini: David Mark’s candidate, Ezikiel Adaji’s credentials missing

Following the release of the final list of the House of Reps candidates by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, tongues are beginning to wag over the qualification of PDP flag bearer for Otukpo/Ohimini Federal constituency, Ezikiel Awulu Adaji.

Adaji, who is vying for a second term would slug it out with Nelson Alapa of the APC, Alache Ode of the Accord Party and Emmanuel Ochekwu of the Labour Party.

However, a quick look at the candidates’ profiles as released by INEC indicates that only the age and credentials of the PDP candidate were missing in the list.

This has put his qualification into serious doubt as many indigenes have been calling for his removal over his inability to express himself in the house.

Adaji, who is said to be one of David’s Mark ‘boys’ has been accused severally of failing to use his office to bring development into the land.

When the debate over Adaji’s certificate was thrown open by Idoma People of Nigeria group, some members of the PDP in the group insisted that if a presidential candidate like Buhari could not present his certificates, Adaji should be allowed to run.

Several calls to the general secretary of INEC, Augusta C Ogakwu for inquiry were not responded.
