Accreditation and voting have commenced simultaneously for the Osun-West senatorial by-election.
At Alajue 1, ward 4, unit 10, Ede, the home town of the PDP flag bearer, Otunba Ademola Adeleke, voters have been on the queue as early as 7:am. Electoral process commenced earnestly at 8:am.
The agent of National Conscience Party (NCP) at the unit, Mr Adewale Abdulsalam described the process as peaceful, saying all sensitive materials arrived timely at the unit.
He added that the turn-out of the electorate was massive and impressive, which according to him indicated high level of consciousness.
Meanwhile, the candidate of PDP, Ademola Adeleke was accredited and voted at exactly 8:35am, at ward 2, unit 9, Sagba Abogunde Compound, Ede North.
Adeleke, while fielding questions from press men said he was optimistic of victory, certifying the process as orderly and transparent.
“I am hundred per cent optimistic of victory, I am convinced about the process to be credible, I have total confidence in the process”, Adeleke said.
