President Muhammadu Buhari has hailed his vice, Yemi Osinbajo, for his tenacious spirit after involving in a helicopter crash on Saturday.
DAILY POST had reported that the chopper crashed in Kabba, Kogi State, while conveying the Vice President to a rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The Vice-President, however, came out unhurt and immediately continued on the campaign trail in the state, a decision that impressed Buhari.
His phone conversation with Osinbajo, was revealed on Twitter by one of his media aides, Bashir Ahmaad.
Ahmaad wrote: “We give glory to Almighty God for sparing your life.
“I’m impressed by your tenacious spirit which enabled you to continue on your campaign engagement, despite the shock of the crash, President @MBuhari tells VP @ProfOsinbajo in a telephone call.”
