Osinbajo, Service Chiefs, meet again over abducted UNIMAID, NNPC staff

The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has again met with service chiefs and other stakeholders on the efforts to rescue the abducted staff of University of Maiduguri and Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC)

Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande on Sunday disclosed this through tweets at exactly 6:50 pm on Sunday.

Akande, through his account @akandeoj, stressed that the Acting President had earlier met with Defence Minister and service chiefs on Thursday.

According to him, “meeting reviewed progress on the release and rescue efforts of the abducted officials of UNIMAID and the missing NNPC staff”.

“In continuation of his close monitoring of Borno situation, AgP Osinbajo met last night with service chiefs, IGP, DSS, Petroleum Minister… “, the tweet reads.
