Osinbajo leaves for South Africa

Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo departed Abuja for Pretoria, South Africa in the early hours of Friday.

The Vice President would be in South Africa for three days, during which he will participate in a number of events including the commissioning of the consular building of the Nigeria High Commission in Pretoria; a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, has said.

According to Akande, Osinbajo would also visit the House of Revival Church in Brakpan to attend some programmes and pay a courtesy call on his South African counterpart, Mr. Cyril Rhamaphosa.

Osinbajo who will hold an interactive session with the Nigerian community in South Africa, is expected back in the country on Sunday.
