Osinbajo, Governors, Ministers storm Ekiti for Gen. Adebayo’s burial [PHOTOS]

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday represented President Muhammadu Buhari, at the burial of the late military governor of the old Western Region, Major General Adeyinka Adebayo.

The funeral service held at the All Saints Anglican Church, Iyin Ekiti, in Ekiti State.

Osinbajo, who announced that Buhari approved the renaming of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, after the late Adebayo, added that the ​president ​would have loved to be in attendance​.​

​Dignitaries who graced the occasion include ​Gov​ernor ​Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, Gov​ernor ​Ayo Fayose of Ekiti​, deceased son and ex-Ekiti Governor ​Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Chris Ngige​ -​ Minister of Lab​u​or and Employment, Presidential adviser -​ Sen​a​tor ​F​emi Ojodu​,​ Min​ister​ of Budget and National Planning​ -​ Udoma Udo Udoma, ​Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun,​ ​Olusegun Mimiko​ – ex​-gov​ernor​ of Ondo,​ among many others.​
