Osinbajo, DSS DG, others hold closed-door meeting

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, last night met with top government officials and heads of security agencies.

The meeting held at the Vice President’s Wing of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa Abuja.

In attendance were Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) Lawal Daura, Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) ,Ibrahim Magu and the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Ekpo Nta.

Others were the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed and the Director-General of the Nigeria Processing Zone Authority.

The gathering was a session of the presidential committee on assets’ recovery.

The meeting reviewed activities of the assets’ recovery committee.

Details were not disclosed to State House correspondents.

Earlier, heads of the security and the anti-corruption agencies met with the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari.
