Osinbajo, a progeny of Tinubu’s political empire – Oluwo

A paramount ruler in the South West, the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has described the Nigeria’s Vice-president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as a product of empire built by the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Hameed Tinubu.

The monarch maintained that by Tinubu’s political pedigree and sagacity, he could be described as an exact replicate of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

He explained that Tinubu, in his political sojourn of over three decades had built an enduring political structure in the South West, with conscious efforts to develop human capital for societal survival.

Akanbi made the declaration while receiving Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in his palace on Friday, as part of the consultation visits ahead of next week’s general election.

He further described Tinubu as a pride of the region and leading figure in Nigeria, saying no leader from the region has surpassed him in terms of human capital development and National influence.

“Tinubu’s influence on the National political landscape is unprecedented in Yoruba’s history; no one in Yoruba history has built human capital like him.

“He is indeed building an empire of immense value to the survival of our region, which requires the support of all and sundry for speedy growth and development”.
