Victor Osimhen is very close to signing for Wolfsburg and will snub a move to Arsenal.
The Nigeria U-17 striker has been on the radar of big European clubs, since his exploits at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile this year, but will now sign for the Bundesliga team.
Osimhen and his representatives have already visited the Wolfsburg training ground and are convinced that the club will help his development.
“Victor has been to Germany where he saw the facilities on ground and also met with some of the officials of Wolfsburg who assured him of regular playing time and we are all happy with it,” one of his confidants told CompleteSports.
“He would have signed the deal but we just wanted to wait till next week to see what will happen but I am 98% certain that he will sign for Wolfsburg.”
He also admitted that Osimhen’s trip to Arsenal this month, will be more of a formality.
“We are planning a visit to Arsenal grounds, but the interest from the club is not that strong like we have from Germany and I can tell you that the trip even looks like a formality,” he added.
