Victor Osimhen has emerged as a major injury concern for Nigeria, ahead of their U-20 AFCON qualifying match in Burundi.
The Wolfsburg-bound striker, dislocated his shoulder during a test game against the country’s Olympic team on Thursday.
Osimhen, who scored the winner in the game against the Dream VI, was forced off in the game after he pulled his left shoulder, following a clash with his marker.
The 17-year-old was later spotted with an ice pack around the affected shoulder.
Osimhen is expected to be assessed properly in the next 48 hours.
The game against Burundi in Bujumbura is on May 21.
