The presidential candidate of the National Interest Party (NIP), Eunice Atuejide, has issued a warning to President Muhammadu Buhari and some of his major supporters, after the vice-president Yemi Osinbajo escaped death in a helicopter crash on Saturday.
DAILY POST had reported that the chopper crashed in Kabba, Kogi State, while conveying the Vice President to a rally of the All progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
In a Twitter post, Atuejide who will be contesting against Buhari in this month’s polls, wondered what would have happened if the president was aboard the flight.
She asked the APC and Buhari’s campaign director, Rotimi Amaechi, to urge him to “go home and rest”.
Atuejide wrote: “Kyari, Daura, Funtua, Amaechi & all you @APCNigeria selfish Lords – let @MBuhari go home & rest mbok!
“Imagine the disaster had this been his chopper?
“Or you think he’d walk out of this & continue to #Kabba like @ProfOsinbajo did if it’d been him?
“Stop the charade! #BuhariMustGo”
