Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar’s plans to sell the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
DAILY POST reported that Atiku, on Wednesday, described the NNPC, as a “Mafia organization.”
Speaking during an interactive session with the business community in Lagos, the former Vice President declared that he would privatise NNPC even if doing so would cost him his life.
Oshiomhole speaking in Benin at the All Progressives (APC) Edo Presidential Mega Rally described Atiku’s Plan to sell NNPC as “ill-conceived”
He said: “Atiku’s plans to privatise the NNPC and other public institutions were ill conceived, urging Nigerians not be allow that to happen.”
He further urged Nigerians to vote Buhari, stressing that the country under Buhari’s administration, has created jobs to absorb the unemployed.
Oshiomhole also maintained that Buhari had showed good leadership, and is committed to the development of the state, adding that APC next level agenda should be supported by all in the interest of the nation.
