Oshiomhole accuses Jonathan’s government of fleecing youths in the name of employment

Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has condemned the employment policy of the Federal Government, accusing the government of deceit and fleecing unemployed Nigerian youths of over N800 million in the name of employment.

Oshiomhole spoke at a rally of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Agenebode, Fugar and Jattu in Etsako Local Government Areas of the state.

He described Federal Government’s claim of creating three million jobs as false as nobody can point to any of his relations so employed by the Federal Government.

Accusing the Jonathan administration as that of deceit, Oshiomhole said the administration only says things it would never deliver on.

The governor said Nigerians are still living in darkness after the Jonathan administration had spent more than $30 billion on power, promising the construction of a second Niger Bridge while nothing is on ground to justify the huge sums of money so far pumped into the project.

Oshiomhole said: “They claim to have created three million jobs. Among you people here, how many of your brothers have got Federal Government jobs. Over the years, government employment is done based on rules.”
