Ortom should tell us the truth about the murder of his security aide, Igbana – Tsav

Elder statesman and former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Alh. Abubakar Tsav has lamented the poor handling of the amnesty programme of the state by Governor Samuel Ortom.

Tsav who made the lamentation while speaking with newsmen in his Makurdi residence, said he was shocked that the governor introduced amnesty programme without involving the Police.

He expressed worry over the proliferation of arms in the State which had resulted in high rate of insecurity.

He urged Governor Samuel Ortom to take drastic steps to arrest the situation.

He expressed displeasure over the way the governor was handling the recent murder of his Special Assistant on Security Denen Igbana, accusing him of shielding the killer, one Terwase Akwaza aka ‘Ghana’.

According to him, the governor was yet to tell the general public the truth about the murder of his aide and his loud silence.

“I hear that he (governor) has told Ghana to surrender himself to the police but he is not sincere with that. Once Ghana surrenders, he will bail him”, he said.
