ONSA advises against panic as it conducts simulation terror response in Abuja

The Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA, has announced its intention to conduct simulation exercises on some public buildings in Abuja by next Monday and Tuesday on prompt response to terror attack.

It explained that the objective of the simulation exercise was to develop the Federal Capital Crisis Response Doctrine to dynamic attack in Abuja, urging people living in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, not to panic.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Minister of Information explained that the simulation exercise was a pre-emptive and precautionary measure against terror attack in Abuja.

The statement reads, “The simulation exercise will be conducted by 9:00am within the precinct of Garki Mall, near the Garki International Market on 1st February, 2016 while another exercise comes up on 2nd February, 2016 at the International Conference Centre, Area 10 Garki, Abuja at 9:00am.”
