A certain Sodiq Adeyemi was on Monday killed after suspected cult groups clashed in Ikeja area of Lagos.
It was learnt that another young man whose identity could not be ascertained at the moment was injured and rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) after the police numbering about 30 stormed Awoseyin and Market Streets in Alade, Ikeja.
The cultists reportedly stormed the area on motorcycles at about 1:00pm, but fled upon sighting the police.
The state command’s spokesman, Joseph Offor, a DSP, said the policemen rushed the injured man to LUTH for medical attention, adding that investigation was ongoing to arrest the cultists.
