Ondo Election: NYSC adjusts date of orientation course in state

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has notified prospective 2016 Batch ‘B’ corps members deployed to Ondo State, of some changes effected in their deployment due to the State’s governorship election.

Recall that the NYSC had released call-up letters for Batch B, saying Orientation camp opens Thursday.

But while maintaining that November 24 remains the commencement date for other states of the federation it said, “due to the Ondo State Governorship Election slated for Saturday, 26th November, 2016, Ondo NYSC Camp would now open for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course as from Tuesday, 29th November to Monday, 19th December, 2016.

“All Prospective Corps Members deployed to Ondo State for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course are to take note,” the NYSC said in a statement signed by its management.
