Ondo election: APC will lose without Tinubu’s support – Group

A group, Alliance for Democratic Change, ADC, has said that the performance of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State will shock President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was as the group asserted that Buhari cannot penetrate Yorubaland without the support of a national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, adding that the party will fail woefully in the state.

Besides, the group stated that Tinubu has sent one of his political sons, Hon. Bola Ilori to direct all APC members in the state to join the Alliance for Democracy, AD, and support its candidate, Chief Olusola Oke.

At a press conference in Akure, the Ondo state capital, Coordinator of the group, Comrade Akinsuku Samuel said the leaders are already mobilizing for AD in all Southwest states.

“All lovers of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu must returned to the AD, it is our party, it is the soul of the Yoruba nation

” You will recall that in 1999, we began the journey of a new democratic era with the AD

“Having studied the events of the APC in Ondo state, our leader, Bola Ilori has assured us that the Jagaban has directed that we return to the AD

“We are resolute that the AD is our fortress at this critical time and we will not allow externals to rubbish the stand of Yoruba nation

“We stand with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we also believe in the leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, we will go where they go

“Our dependable leader, Bola Ilori said we should move enmass to the AD, it is the destination for all lovers of Asiwaju Tinubu,” Olawale said.

He stated that all structures of the APC in the 18 local governments and 203 wards of the state should collapse their structures for the AD.

Olawale said Ilori told them that Asiwaju Tinubu has ordered for massive mobilization for the AD governorship candidate, Chief Olusola Oke.

According to Olawale, the AD is the party to win the forthcoming November 26 governorship election.
