DailyPost just gathered from a reliable source at the Police Headquarters in Abuja that the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Danladi Mshebwala has been transfer from the state ahead of the Saturday’s governorship election.

The source disclosed that he has been replaced by a new Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Ndabawa.

He is expected to assume duties immediately.

Ndabawa, until his transfer to Ondo State, was the Police Commissioner in Rivers State. .

Attempt to confirm the authenticity of the disclosure from the state’s police headquarters was not successful as at press time.

It will be recalled that the Police Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Abubakar yesterday hinted at a Stakeholders’ meeting in Akure that due to the various petitions he had received on some of his security chiefs in the state, they may likely be transfered from the state before the election day in order to ensure that the election in Ondo state is conducted under a free and fair atmosphere.
