Kenneth Omeruo, will on Wednesday be given a date for his comeback, after making a quick recovery from surgery on his shoulder.
The Super Eagles and Chelsea defender, will meet specialists in London on Wednesday, who will assess his recovery and give him a date to return to action. Initial diagnosis was that he would be out for eight weeks, after the operation on August 14.
”Kenneth is doing very well, he has made a remarkable recovery, even quicker than expected. He will visit the specialists on Wednesday to know when he could return to action,” Omeruo’s adviser Chika Conleth Akujobi told MTNFootball.com.
The 19-year-old defender has already begun light jogging and Akujobi admitted that Omeruo missed playing for the Super Eagles all the while.
He said: “He’s of course missing the Super Eagles and he said he can’t wait to join them as soon as possible, but the most important is he getting better.”
