The Spiritual Leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has warned Nigerians and the rest of the world to be wary of the consequences of all forms of homosexuality, calling on those involved in the act to “think twice”.
Olumba Obu, who gave this warning yesterday in Calabar, the Cross Rivers State capital, when members of the Correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, paid him a courtesy call, insisted that, “same sex marriage is a direct disobedience to God’s injunction”.
Speaking through Bishop Princely Ibeabuchi, the Spiritual Leader reiterated that God created man and women and charged them to go and multiply and replenish the earth and described homosexuality as an “affront, an act of irreverence and deliberate attempt to bring the word of God to naught”.
While noting that the scriptures admonished that, “Thou shall not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is an abomination,” Obu advised world leaders to seek the face of God in all their dealings and to lead their subjects in the fear of the Lord, rather than propagating ideals that are devilish.
