Oliseh retains six home-based players for Tanzania, Eagles to depart Thursday

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has retained only six home-based players for the final phase of preparation, ahead of next week’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Tanzania.

They are: Ikechukwu Ezenwa (Sunshine Stars), Solomon Kwambe (Warri Wolves), Chima Akas (Sharks), Austin Obaroakpo (Abia Warriors), Usman Mohammed (Taraba) and Prince Aggreh (Sunshine Stars).

These players are expected to report to camp at Bolton White Hotels and Apartments on Monday, August 31, alongside the invited foreign-based professionals.

The team will leave Abuja for Tanzania via a chartered flight on Thursday, September 3 for the game, which is billed forSeptember 5 in Dar es Salaam.
