Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has saluted the home-based squad, after they qualified for the African Nations Championship, after a 0-0 draw with Burkina Faso on Sunday.
Nigeria had beaten Burkina Faso 2-0 a week earlier in the first leg played in Port Harcourt.
Oliseh, who is currently on a compulsory two-week rest as advised by doctors, took to Twitter to express his joy.
“Praise God! Super Eagles for CHAN 2016 on 2-0 aggregate.”
The tournament is scheduled to kick off in January 2016 and will be hosted by Rwanda.
Nigeria won bronze at the last edition in South Africa two years ago.
