Former Super Eagles captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, has expressed his delight at his nephew Alex Iwobi’s display, in Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to Barcelona on Wednesday.
Okocha was at the Camp Nou to watch the Champions League round of 16 second leg between the two clubs.
Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scored for the current holders, while Mohammed Elneny grabbed the Gunners’ only goal.
Iwobi played for 72 minutes and was denied a penalty call in the first half.
In a tweet at the end of the game, Okocha said: “So happy watching Alex Iwobi (nephew) on the big stage.. I’m very much impressed with his performance.”
