Today, the Will left by the late Eze Ndigbo, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu (Eze Igbo Gbueugburu) will be read in the Enugu High Court, Enugu State.

Earlier in the week, registrar of the Enugu High Court had directed members of the ex warlord to come to the court today for the reading of the Will.

The Will, according to some legal professionals who are perfect in the writing of Will is expected to settle some of the problems presently tearing the Ojukwu’s family apart, particularly the contention over who is his original first son.

Following the death of Ojukwu, Debe Sylvester Ojukwu and Emeka Ojukwu Jnr had risen individually to claim the right of a first son : “So, it is hoped that when the Will is read today, the late Igbo leader may have laid down some clues on how to resolve this issue.” Said one of the experts.

Experts also said that Ojukwu might believe it necessary to state who takes over the Ojukwu Transport Company where he once served as one of the directors before he died.

They added that these are the critical areas the will will be addressing. Meanwhile, Ojukwu eight children would also know the property and other assets willed to them by their late father.

The late Biafran warlord passed away November 26 last year in a London hospital.

UPDATE: The Court has awarded Ojukwu’s estate and monies to his wife, Bianca. Read HERE
