Gbenga Ogunbote has been announced as the new head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Shooting Stars.
He replaces Kadiri Ikhana, who resigned from the post last month.
Ogubote was picked from four high-profile managers, including Okey Emordi and Zachary Baraje.
“Yes, we’ve appointed Gbenga Ogunbote as our new coach,” Shooting Stars spokesman, Jubrin Arowolo, confirmed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
“As we speak now, I’m standing right behind him as he addresses the players at our training ground.”
Shooting Stars currently occupy the 18th place in the NPFL table.
