Odey eager to overthrow Udoh as NPFL all-time top scorer

MFM FC forward, Stephen Odey, has said he wants to break Mfon Udoh’s goals record in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The record stands at 23 goals in a season and was set by Udoh in the 2014/2015 campaign.

Odeh has already scored six times this season and revealed that his aim is to overtake the Enyimba striker.

“It will be great if I can become the all-time leading scorer in the league,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“I have scored six goals already and I’m determined to score more before the end of the season.

“It’s not going to be an easy task as defenders will be out to stop me now, but I will keep working in order to achieve my objective.

“I also hope to stay healthy and avoid injuries too.”
