Stoke City striker, Peter Odemwingie, will not be available for selection, when his team travels to play Tottenham Hotspurs this weekend, after sustaining a hamstring injury in training.
The Nigerian featured for only 10 minutes, as the Potters were beaten 1-0 by Liverpool at home, but could now be out of action for up to four weeks.
“Unfortunately Peter has got a hamstring strain and is likely to miss the next couple of weeks,” Stoke manager Mark Hughes said.
“It’s disappointing for him because he has worked tremendously hard throughout pre-season.”
Hughes is, however, hopeful that Marko Arnautovic and Marc Wilson will be ready to travel to White Hart Lane on Saturday.
