The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi has attributed the death of the deceased Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi to over-speeding.
Oyeyemi made this disclosure while presenting the accident’s Road Traffic Crash Investigation Interim Report to the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ocholi alongside his wife and son had on Sunday lost their lives in an auto accident along the Kaduna-Abuja road.
Oyeyemi while presenting the report said investigations into the crash showed that the impact of the accident was more on Ocholi and his family members who were seated at the rear seats because they were not using seat belts.
He further stated that the driver of the vehicle was not licensed.
DAILY POST had reported that the FEC will today hold a valedictory session in honour of the late Minister.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir David Lawal gave the tentative dates for burial arrangements for 16th to 18th of March, 2015.
