The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central district at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani, has said that the All Progressives Congress, APC, should be tolerant of criticism coming from former President Olusegun Obasanjo and others.

According to him, APC felt good when the last administration suffered same criticism and attacks when they were in opposition.

Sani noted that APC thought Nigerians the art of making big issues out of nothing and turning them into a political force.

The lawmaker was reacting to the clash between Obasanjo, President Buhari and APC.

Obasanjo had on Sunday launched series of attacks and allegations at the President Buhari government, which the APC swiftly returned.

President Buhari himself had also fired back at Obasanjo and Shehu Sani reminded the ruling party that, “When they were in the opposition, the ruling elites thought Nigerians the art and science of exploiting every issue as a political force to propel them to power.

“Now as a govt, they are becoming intolerant for being at the receiving end of the spears and the arrows they left behind.”
