Obasanjo says his coalition has 3 million members, to write another letter to Buhari

Ahead of the 2019 election, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday disclosed that the Coalition for Nigeria Movement, CNM, has recorded over three million membership.

Obasanjo made the disclosure at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, while responding to questions from women at the 14th annual lecture of the Women in Management, Business and Public Service.

The former President said the coalition was being accepted at the grassroots across the country.

He said, “The Coalition for Nigeria Movement is penetrating to the grassroots. And presently there are over three million members who had registered.”

Obasanjo also hinted on writing another letter on the state of the nation.

“After my last letter, it will take sometime before I write another one”, the former Nigerian leader added.
